Tour Overview
Detailed Itinerary
7:00 AM — Arrival at Godkhali Jetty
Meet your guide at Godkhali. No check-in desk — just warm smiles and a banana-leaf breakfast (luchi + alur dom). Board your handcrafted wooden boat — eco-friendly, quiet, intimate.
7:30 AM — Departure into the Mangroves
Glide along the Matla River. Pass sleepy villages, waving children, fishermen casting nets. Feel time slow down.
9:00 AM — Enter Sundarbans Tiger Reserve
Cruise through narrow creeks. Spot spotted deer, crocodiles sunbathing, kingfishers darting. Listen for the rustle of tigers — unseen, but always near.
12:30 PM — Lunch Onboard
Feast on prawn malai curry, mustard-fried hilsa, steamed rice, mango chutney — all served on banana leaf. Fresh coconut water included.
2:30 PM — Tea & Folklore Session
Sip masala chai as your boatman shares legends of honey hunters, tidal floods, and tiger gods. Float past Basa Bari — where humans live in harmony with beasts.
4:00 PM — Golden Hour Photography
Capture mirror-like waters, amber-lit mangroves, birds in flight. Your guide helps frame nature’s poetry.
5:30 PM — Return to Godkhali
Disembark with a small forest gift — Sundari leaf, river soil, handwritten blessing. You leave lighter. Wiser. Wilder.
